Sarah Mansour is the Founder and Principal Consultant of an independent advisory firm dedicated to advancing human rights through strategic, ethical, innovative and culturally attuned solutions. With nearly 14 years of global experience in refugee protection, immigration and asylum law, and institutional reform, Sarah has led high-impact initiatives across Australia, the Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the Americas—including senior roles within the Australian Government and UNHCR.
Born in Australia to a Coptic Christian family, Sarah’s connection to Egypt’s historically persecuted minority community shaped a lifelong commitment to justice and institutional reform. Her early legal work representing marginalized asylum seekers and refugees cultivated a tactical understanding of protection systems and the human cost of policy gaps. Today, she leads a consultancy defined by integrity, strategic foresight, and operational clarity— partnering with governments and institutions to navigate complex human rights landscapes and co-design resilient, rights-based systems that advance both national priorities and the dignity of those they serve.
Sarah holds a Master of Laws (International Law) with Merit, a double degree in Law and Arts (International Relations and Spanish), and is admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Her work continues to elevate regional visibility, secure donor partnerships, and foster sustainable, mutually beneficial reform.
